Bamboo Shoot Bajji (South Indian cuisine)

Ingredients: 

  • Besan flour - 100 gm
  • Bamboo Shoot – 200 gm
  • Chilli powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Baking Soda - 2 – 3 pinch
  • Turmeric - ½ teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste

preparation: 

  1. Chop prepared bamboo shoot into long strips. Mix besan flour, chilli powder, salt and soda. Sprinkle water and make a thick mixture.
  2. Dip in the thick mixture & fry till cooked and golden brown. Serve hot with sauce.
