Bamboo Shoot Fry (Pakoda)

Ingredients: 

  • Besan flour – 100 gm
  • Onion – 1 big
  • Bamboo Shoot- 200 gm
  • Bansi Rava – 50 g
  • Chilli powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin seeds – 1 teaspoon
  • Baking Soda – 2-3 pinch
  • Turmeric - ½ teaspoon
  • Salt- to taste

Preparation: 

  1. Chop onions and pre-prepared bamboo shoot into small pieces. Mix besan flour, onion, bamboo shoot, cumin seeds, chilli powder, bansi rava, salt, soda, sprinkle water and make a thick mixture
  2. Fry in oil till it turns golden brown, on simmer flame. Serve it hot with tomato sauce or mint chutney.
