Native
Naturally occurring (not cultivated or introduced)
Nodal line
A prominent line below the nodal region.
Nodal Region
Region that bears roots, buds and branches, between the nodal line and supranodal ridge
Node
Junction of adjacent internodes in the culm; the place where the culm sheath, foliage leaves, branches or flowers arise
Node
A segmentation of the culm from where branches originate: at the node, diaphragm divides the culm
Nutrients
Elements necessary for growth and reproduction of plants; primary plant nutrients are nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium
